Brohm at Center Grove today

Yep, and you cried to the mods to have the thread deleted too. Morgan Burke deserves to be told to F off.

Now have a cookie and get lost.

Wrong about that much like everything else. I thought the thread should stay just as continual proof as to the type of person you are. Furthermore, GBI isn't going to do anything that I ask them to do. Probably just the opposite. So they probably just came to the same conclusion most people have and thought you were classless moron.

Nah, I'm right again per usual...but you keep believing that narrative. I'm sure your ego needs it after being slammed by the majority of people on this board for parading your utter stupidity and ignorance right before your hero was canned during the season.

Thankfully the administration charted a new course with their recent investments in football. MBob was brought in to address the slop that people like you and Purdue85 lapped up like mindless sheep for years; realists couldn't be more excited for it.

You can go back to begging for my permanent departure now. Unfortunately, that'll be another disappointment in your sorry existence.

As for retaining Parker. it was said Hazell's biggest demise was his inability to recruit quality athletes.. and since Parker was Hazell's best and most active recruiter, and we see the fruits of his labor, I think it is best that Parker not return or be placed in a position responsible for recruiting . I'd like our coaches to be a lot better recruiters and set their sites a lot higher than Parker. it's time for a clean sweep.

If everyone on staff had worked as hard on recruiting as Parker, we wouldn't be in the current mess.

The reason Tiller succeeded early on was , Tiller did his job evaluating players, and Spack, Chaney, Sumlin, Hope, Olson, Emmanuel, etc etc worked their tails off in recruiting. Had only Spack and Chaney worked hard in recruiting Tiller would've failed. That wouldn't have meant Spack and Chaney didn't do a good job.

Urban Meyer and numerous good assistants have been on staffs that got fired. There are good assistants on nearly every fired P5 staff.

Brohm is a smart guy, I am sure he will due his due diligence on Parker and Freeman

Hazell had recruited a RB from NJ the same year he signed Jones and was pursuing Vaughn. This running back was suspended by his high school pending a sexual assault charge. He had verbaled to Purdue early - maybe June before the charge was filed. Once the charges were filed, and he was suspended, Hazell still included him as one of our recruits. He had received an offer from Syracuse and another Eastern school - maybe Rutgers. But because he committed early, he stopped receiving offers. As fate would have it, he was cleared of all charges in January a couple of weeks before the signing day. And Hazell still considered him as a commitment. However, in the last two days, Hazell signed several last second recruits, and he was still recruiting Vaughn who was a 4 star running back from Tenn. Hazell ran out of scholarships, so the weekend before the signing day, Hazell yanked the Nj running back's scholarship citing personal conduct, and was planning to offer it to Vaughn. But Vaughn surprised Hazell and chose Illinois on the signing day. And by that time, the other two teams that had previously offered the Nj kid a scholarship were all filled. He ended up going to either a juco or division 2 school. What upset me most was Hazell citing his personal conduct as the reason for pulling his scholarship. This would be understandable if he had done so 6 months earlier when the assault allegations were first filed. But Hazell kept him as a recruit throughout his high school suspension, and after he was cleared of all charges. The only reason he dropped him was because he was after a better running back.

Unlike the Haze this guy is earning his $$$. I sense a killer instinct :) a desire to be the best. I have a feeling he will exceed expectations. This hire gives me much confidence in M-Bob
Hey now...... don't use BRHOMs work ethic to bad mouth past purdue coaches....Purdue85, when you find your safe place on this forum, a pony and coloring book will be waiting for you and Haze.

Not defending Hazell, but Rob Ennis punched a girl in the face. He wasn't a 4*. And Purdue dropped the scholarship the same day his charges were dropped. He ended up at Rhode Island (FCS school). And Purdue didn't tell them they were holding keeping the scholarship commitment.

"The last time I talked to them they told me to keep my options open if any schools were to approach me with interest," Ennis told the Journal and Courier. "They weren't taking my scholarship from me, but they weren't promising me they would keep my offer."

Kid should have planned accordingly. Should have Hazell dropped the offer right after he was charged? Yes. Poor timing? Absolutely. But he had fair warning it could happen. Again, not defending Hazell, but the kid hit a woman.

On a bright note.....have you looked at the tape on the ATH Perry kid!!!!! He and Lankford-Johnson should be fun to watch in B's offense!!!!

Saying on a message board that someone who was horrible at their job should be told to F off, while not the height of discourse, is hardly a blanket indictment of the poster. Painting "F OFF" on the guy's house would be low class.

Travesty. I agree Ennius was not a great running back recruit. And Vaughn was clearly much better. But the time to drop the scholarship for cause was when he was first charged, not to wait until until the weekend before signing day because Hazell needed it to pursue Vaughn. It was very poor timing and also judgement on Hazell's part. If he didn't want him, he should have denied the scholarship 6 months earlier, and allowed him to look elsewhere.

Didnt Hope yank a guys offer just befor signing day too? AJ King from Tampa area. Purdue never did say why but I assumed it was injury related?

God only knows what Fleck would have done if hired. When get got to Western Michigan, pulled all scholarships right before signing day.

Tore his ACL...had it fixed in a manner Purdue didn't recommend. Purdue offered him a grey shirt and he turned it down. Went to WMU but I don't think he ever played

That was the writing on the wall from day one with this clown..........there wasn't one damn thing this guy did well....right down to wearing his crunched up cap........and of course the record showed it..............

This is true. I don't think I'd give high praise for Brohm for stepping foot into Indiana high schools though - or not taking a week off after being hired - or hiring a few assistants within a week. This is stuff that's pretty standard.

None of this is "wow" material, but shows how low expectations are.

Next week we enter an NCAA dead period Dec 12 - Jan 11. After that there is less than a month to contact recruits before signing day. Let's see how many flips and non-commits that Brohm brings in.

Iirc, our doctor did an exam on a visit and the knee wasn't healing well.
