His question is, "What is it about Purdue that seems to repel this kids?" or something to that effect.
Obviously there is a camp on here who will go to their graves believing that it's Painter. It very well could be Painter. I believe I'm in the camp that it could be Painter but it also could be a variety of other factors that are very difficult to overcome, and then if we switch coaches thinking it's all Painter's fault and chase someone who thinks he can recruit but then is not good on execution, we could be in worse shape. Seems there are a lot of us who feel that way. I'm so worn down by the 24x7x365 anti-Painter drone on here that I really wish we would do something different, but it does not appear that will happen. Unfortunately that is not going to quell the anti-Painter camp.
So...... the question for you is what is the root cause of this? I think most of us know you have to maintain relationships with the staff, but it would probably go a long way towards resolving this CONSTANT back and forth, if, after Swanigan picks MSU or Cal, you could shed some light on this in your always professional/respectful manner.
