Braden was just awful

I would expect we'd match anything
I sure hope we do and we are able to. Give him the money and the pieces. I would really hope we’d do that for one of the best players in program history/best PG ever in the history. As well as a top PG/NPOTY candidate for next year who has a chance to be the all time leader in assists in all of college ball.

It’ll be our best shot at an NC run if we retain everyone and get at least two portal guys.

I'd be more concerned about TKR turning pro.

Absolutely he's slower than Haas. I think this is a bunch of older fans who still remember when Gene would have a Sr big blow up out of nowhere so they are holding out hope for Berg.
If you're still in college a 40yr old guy is "older", I guess. Not sure what age has to do with anything.

Regarding Berg (and Burgess too), I don't expect either guy to "blow up" or to become Steve Scheffler. Not my expectation at all. I just want the staff to stop being so damn predictable by shortening the bench to the same 7 or 8 guys. Why not go with a big lineup in certain situations? Mixing it up might help. Or we could keep doing the same ol' shit and drop our 5th game in a row.

So you don't have any argument playing Berg makes sense you just want Painter to "do something."
