Looking at that list - Bruce Douglas often gets overlooked - tough as nails for the Illini in the early/mid '80s. I think he is still the career leader for Illinois in assists and steals.
At 8 per game, he needs 24 more games to pass Winston.
After that is the NCAA list. These are the guys above 1000.
