Now Purdue is where they want to be. Their destiny is in their own hands.Need to win out.
Would love to see us win out, but I'm not sure that's a realistic expectation. Too much parity in the B1G this year.
Maybe the better team, but not players. Biggie is the POY, but IU and MSU have had the top recruiting classes for some time. Purdue has put a nice collection of pieces together, but has been middle of the pack in recruiting every year.Purdue has better players than anyone in the conference, so I'd say its realistic. But I'm not going to expect it. Maryland and wisconsin are not as good as purdue, I think they will end up with at least 4 losses and at least one of them 5 (the loser on sat).
It's there for the taking. If this is the team it's thinks it is and biggie and haas play well there's no reason it should lose more than one game down the stretch. There's 2 tough road games and msu should be dialed in, but to win a title takes a run like that
*statement is barring disaster

tend to agree w/ this too.I think Maryland will end up the sole champs. Purdue will lose one more on the road. Probably NW. Hell msu and iu are no gimmes either. Maryland has by far the easiest schedule remaining. I think they handle Wisc easily on Sunday and win out. Purdue probably ties wisc for 2nd or finishes solo 2nd.
Not many players on Purdue's team that I would trade for any other B1G player. I'll take a seasoned team of players that play well together over a collection of all-stars any day.Do De'Ron Davis is better than Carsen Edwards because he was rated higher coming into college?

Exactly. Purdue finally has a solid class of experienced players. When was the last time any of us could say that?I'm not a recruiting rankings are irrelevant guy but looking at rankings for a roster in a single season is not an accurate measure of the team quality.
Development and experience are huge factors in players, not even considering how they fit. Purdue has good players.
