hey sporre, in another thread you said you had lots of big dog DVDs. Is there any way you could make copies and sell them?
Those are treasured artifacts. I could help put them on YouTube too.
I have a few games - Kansas, Illinois, Alabama...but not nearly enough.
Yeah, had a chance at 51...The Illinois game where he scored 49? Oh that was awesome
I was at that game. He blew a fairly easy lay up to not get the 51.Yeah, had a chance at 51...
I may have the game at Michigan too.

I will have to look at which ones I have in their entirety. I know I have Michigan at Mackey, Michigan at Crisler, at OSU, all the NCAA tourney games. I wouldn't see them - illegal and I wouldn't want to charge fellow Boilers. I just need to get them on YouTube. What I have that is probably better is a self-made highlight reel for the entire season, that includes almost every game, including the non-conference cupcakes at the beginning. I was in high school then and made it with two VCR's connected together. Yes, I was obsessed. It is about six hours long. I should break that into parts and upload to YouTube. Feel free to send me your email address to stay connected on this.
I got some of those games but they are on VHS. What's also great about the Ill. game was the great Al McGuire was doing color on it. Now I have to figure out Calhoun dialect.
I don't remember the missed layup, but I was thinking he missed a free throw for 50. I was at that game. Mackey was electric. So I was right ?

I do remember that now. The ball slipping out of his hands & went ob. I was sitting where the luxury seats are now. Still have my "Destination Final Four" card with the train logo on it that they were passing out to hold up.it was a break away for an easy layup or dunk and the ball slipped out of his hands to go out of bounds. There was already someone at the scorer's table to sub in for him as the game was out of reach and he deserved a nice ovation from the crowd. 49 was amazing. only 2 points, but 51 looks even nicer.
