Although I, like most UofL fans, selfishly wanted Coach Brohm to come take over the Louisville program, I am happy to see him honor his commitment to the Purdue program. In this day and age of commit/decommit, one-and-dones, and coaches job hopping...it's nice to see a guy honor the promises he made when he took over a program. This only raises my perception of Jeff Brohm as a coach and person. So, with that said, I will definitely be watching him and his career at Purdue and rooting for him to do great things. Congratulations to the the Brohm family and Purdue fans.

I couldn't have said it better steelers2012, Brohm is a good coach, good character, loyal. Wish we could have got him, but this doesn't change me being a fan of his and watching you all succeed with a good man. You all have a good coach but more so a good man. Good luck in the future and unless you are playing us I will root for you every game!
Congrats.

Why was I banned over there? I didn't say anything derogatory or anything that should've gotten me banned. Care to lift the ban?

Same here. I merely repeated what BPGhost said and pointed out that UofL and UK had almost identical records. Banned.. Rules violation. What rule? I guess speaking the truth to a bunch of delicate snowflakes. I hope they are spurned by every coach they approach.

Thank you and much success in continuing your coaching search. I’m sure it will be successful.

Class post... and spot on. It's refreshing to have him honor his commitment. Appreciate the recognition and good wishes from a few UL fans.

I've already corrected you once before but apparently you are a delicate snowflake and the truth triggered you so the mods deleted my post. The UK-UL series is 16-15 in favor of UK. I'm not arbitrarily drawing a line at the "modern era" as you are so fond of doing.

It has to be a nice feeling to know you have a coach that WANTS to be there. I wanted that feeling many times as a Louisville fan, and it's the main reason I wanted Brohm to come to Louisville. There's a big difference between leaving a school after just two years of building, and leaving 10 years after being built. Good for Brohm for wanting to continue what he started.

Lol - I’ve never once - on any board - taken offense at a post where I asked for it to be deleted - little buddy. I don’t get triggered, particularly by randos whether in the internet or in person. And it’s not the “modern era” (circa 1923 on ) that I’m drawing the line at - I’m going by when the state legislature flushed the yuts out of their hiding place and forced them to play UofL again.

15-10. :)

Your comment is equally impressive and much appreciated. In a day and age of such vitriol and rudeness among sports fans it is rare to see such sportsmanship.
Thank you for your very kind comments. Norm
