Why? Let’s play a bigger name! The ACC and PAC-12 both play boring football, IMO.But but I wanted Duke or Virginia Tech
This is actually great IMO. If you'd told me at the beginning of the year that We were would be playing Auburn in a a bowl, I'd say NO WAY would that even be possible !Why? Let’s play a bigger name! The ACC and PAC-12 both play boring football, IMO.
As long as it does not turn out like the 2012 bowl game in Dallas, it will be great exposure. We win and we are heading very positively into 2019, especially with our recruiting class. This is actually great IMO. This is GREAT EXPOSURE for the program!
The team/coach we have isn't even comparable to that year. Other then the Minnesota debacle i don't think brohm has ever been blown out. I wouldn't be surprised if we get the W.As long as it does not turn out like the 2012 bowl game in Dallas, it will be great exposure. We win and we heading very positively into 2019.
This is nothing like 2012. We were playing after firing Danny Hope and were being led by a bunch of assistants who were updating their resumes. As long as it does not turn out like the 2012 bowl game in Dallas, it will be great exposure. We win and we heading very positively into 2019.
It won't, because that staff had 9 toes out the door looking for new jobs after Hope got canned. No game planning, no real practices. As long as it does not turn out like the 2012 bowl game in Dallas, it will be great exposure. We win and we heading very positively into 2019.
Our line has to hold off Auburn def line. We got to run and have time to throw. Even Auburn cannot stop Rondale. Will be a good test.
Brohm also thought that winning a bowl would help heading positively into the next year( he said ) - until this year 0-3!As long as it does not turn out like the 2012 bowl game in Dallas, it will be great exposure. We win and we heading very positively into 2019.

We have Rondale with a year of experience, and he has help coming next year. I also like our schedule better next year.Brohm also thought that winning a bowl would help heading positively into the next year( he said ) - until this year 0-3!
It's funny to see some of the Auburn fans in the comments on their Twitter page of bowl announcement.
They are whining and complaining about playing Purdue and wanting Mahlzahn fired, etc. I guess when you're preseason top 10 you'd be a little salty.
I guess if their players come with the same attitude, we put our foot on their neck and beat them into the dust while they're down. I know they had bigger goals but if they don't have enough pride to play hard then they deserve to have us beat them by a ton
I was there! All we heard before the game was Pur-who from every K-State fan we crossed paths with for two days. We walked out of that game with our chests puffed up and returned the favor.Auburn sounds a lot like Kansas Sate did before the 1998 Alamo Bowl.
Except that KSU team was a legit NC contender in 1998 for most of the season. Auburn has been very disappointing.Auburn sounds a lot like Kansas Sate did before the 1998 Alamo Bowl.
It does have the makings of the K State game. With opponent whining why they aren’t in a higher seeded bowl against better competition. Hopefully, we have some playmakers back and plug the hole left by Lorenzo Neal being out. We’ll see...I like our chances. Unlike other years, I wonder if a redshirt or two might see some action if they are close to ready?
Or Oklahoma State in the Alamo. The day after the game, I actually had an OSU fan tell me "I cannot believe we got whooped by a MAC school". Clueless. They had no doubt they were going to pound us.Auburn sounds a lot like Kansas Sate did before the 1998 Alamo Bowl.
Thanks. Can you help me with something? I cannot find IU on the schedule anywhere. Here's the whole bowl schedule, in case someone needs it.

Lol.Auburn sounds a lot like Kansas Sate did before the 1998 Alamo Bowl.
Maybe he knows that Clemson is going to sexually assault them so get some young guys some time?Interesting on that note, I caught Brian Kelly on ESPN radio this morning. He was actually talking about the redshirt rule and how it might give him a chance to get some playing time in the semi-final game for some players who haven't played in 4 games yet. I'm surprised a team that isn't playing a glorified exhibition game would say that, but I'm sure all the other ones are.
He’s no better than Lock IMO.Stidham will play only if he concludes that playing against Purdue defense can improve his resume. Hopefully he signs with an agent prior to Music City Bowl. He has the kind of arm that could riddle our makeshift defense.
I don't disagree but Locke played well against us and some NFL draft experts pick Stidham to go in first 2 rounds ahead of Locke. I would much prefer to face his backup on 12/28
