Armed home invader sentenced to probation

a black man gets a break from a black judge, and it's mass hysteria, and you even acknowledge that it's "the first time I have heard of this."

Whites accused in these situations have been getting breaks for a long, long time. Rich people of all colors have been getting breaks for a long, long time.

On rare occasions judges give overly lenient sentences. I have no problem criticizing judges when that happens, just like I have no problem criticizing overly harsh sentences. But to say that somehow "because we keep voting for Democrats" that now all of a sudden black males will catch breaks in the criminal justice system...

I do not follow lots of cases like this but I have never heard of a home invader using a gun being convicted and getting only probation. If I am wrong about this then I would be happy to admit I was wrong,I would like to see another case where a home invader got probation. This to me is right up there with murder as an absolutely horrible crime.
I just think if the race of all the people involved were reversed, the mainstream media would be hyperventilating also and the justice department would be all over it. With this case, I doubt very much that the justice department will touch it. I saw where this judge was elected. I cannot imagine someone like that getting re-elected unless it was in a heavily black district where it is OK to have racial bias.

I have no proof that this specific crime has ever led to probation in the history of American jurisprudence. I'm am pretty sure though that given the vast number of home break ins committed with a a gun in the history of America, the odds that this is the first time in history someone has gotten probation for it is pretty low. It's however, not remotely the point being made. It also, objectively, is not right up there with murder, otherwise it would have similar maximum punishments, which is usually how we determine severity of crimes. If the races were reversed, no one would know and no one would care.
