I'm thinking about driving up from Memphis to see the Boilers play in Louisville on the 30th. Is anyone else planning on going? Any recommendations on where I should get seats so I'm near other Boilers?
Don't forget to stop by the athletic dorms to pick up your dates. I heard there's a great Italian restaurant in the area as well.
Just FYI...YUM Center is not on/near Louisville's campus. It's in downtown Louisville. A few good drinking spots nearby. The Troll Pub is almost next door and not bad.Myself and 3 of my friends will be there. We made the drive to Pitt last year for the ACC/B1G challenge and we had a blast. We are making it a tradition. I hope we can cap it off with celebratory drinks on campus after the game just like last year!
The Purdue alumni club from Jeff/New Albany is meeting at the Champion Sports Bar on W Jefferson st, looks like that's 2-3 blocks south of the Yum Center.Just FYI...YUM Center is not on/near Louisville's campus. A little more detail from the FB page, they're starting around 5 pm, and it looks like some of them don't have tickets so they're watching the game from the bar.Good to know. Thanks!
By the way my son is a senior at IU but says he is even a bigger Purdue fan now if that is possible.
My son lives just outside of Louisville and just yesterday scored two tickets in Section 116 (I know nothing about this arena; are those good seats?). This will be the first time I have ever seen the Boilers play live anywhere other than Mackey.
Thank your son profusely! Those are mid-court section, lower level.
