Anunoby....

Too bad about OG. The kid was a good player, fun to watch. Anytime someone gets hurt like that, I think it is a real shame for both the team and the kid. Don't like to see it.

The injury does give Crean or Queen an excuse for his performance this year, and I suppose we will get the inevitable "We would have beat you if..." Posts from our lesser IU posters. All that doesn't decrease the disappointment for OG. My simpathies to the kid.

Feel sorry for OG. We all know what two ACL's likely has cost Robbie. Hopefully the kid can recover and still play the way he wants to.

Absolutely. I have a lot of respect for all the players that make the sacrifices they do to work on their game and never wish for an injury. It didn't look that bad to me since it didn't appear to buckle like some...

I think Yahoo! Sports was the first to report.....

Good luck to him in his recovery, and hopefully he can successfully return to the court.
This could lead to some Spring Creaning. IU already oversigned by 2, and Crean still aggressively recruiting at least one more kid. I'm sure he was thinking OG and Bryant would leave, but you have to figure OG stays now.

Saw Priller just got declared ineligible, must have failed the Ron Patterson Memorial Algebra class. So I'm sure the PR staff is already polishing off the boiler plate Creaning release, "Tim has decided it's in his best interest to finish his career at Dallas Baptist, and we wish him the best..."

OMG that was hilarious.

Crean won't be there in the Spring.

I'm surprised Crean didn't pull out a ladder to cut the nets down.

Note: BTN just showed a replay of Anunoby being helped off the court. It looked like he was putting weight on that injured knee/leg/foot whatever it was. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a sprained MCL instead of a torn ACL.

I understand what you're saying, but him putting weight on it doesn't mean much. I blew out my left ACL iwith the game almost over, never went to the floor, even finished the game (although I stood under the basket for the final 15 seconds), then walked off. I immediately knew what had happened.
