Train Wreck. Clown Show.

If you're for open borders and don't think illegals should be deported, then be a man and stand behind your position instead of being scared to state it.
I don't think DG Boiler is capable of articulating a position. All of his posts are mindless insults like "Trump is stupid" or "ICE Barbie is unqualified." Can you find one of his posts in which he actually states what he thinks about an issue?

Am I campaigning for votes? I this the leader of the DHS being completely unqualified to an embarrassing degree, which is shockingly common among Trump's appointees, is a pretty big issue.

On the topic of the completely made up open border narrative, I don't have to say anything. It was never open, and bonehead is an unserious troll. I owe nothing to either of you.

How are there so many illegal immigrants in the country if there was not an open border?

As I said, all of your comments are mindless insults. You provide no examples to confirm your hateful rants, just more bile and venom.

We can do this as long as you like.

At least Bob, although usually wrong, has the balls to do that and take the arrows that come his way.

The Statue of Liberty, with those words enscribed, was built and dedicated on October 28, 1886. The Immigration Act of 1891 later established legal immigration policies.

I appreciate you accurately stating my position.

I don't think the question is whether you or I understand what Habeas Corpus is. But I would expect the Secretary of DHS to.......especially since it directly affects the primary job she was tasked to do by trump.

HC wasn't added later in the Bill of Rights/amendments. It was actually in the Constitution.........demonstrating how important the framers considered it to be.

And yeah, you can bring up that these people who are being taken off the street and shipped to foreign jails may not be citizens........but Habeas Corpus doesn't care. It applies to non citizens as well.
You can’t expect any of Chump’s cabinet to know anything about or adhere to the constitution. They weren’t hired to know or adhere to the constitution. Chump learned the hard way during his last term that hiring people that were decent and smart was bad for furthering his jacked up agenda. That’s why scores of folks in his administration including cabinet members either resigned or were fired.

The bad white hire ICE chick is a lawyer. She knows all too well of what Habeas Corpus is. In order to further the Chump agenda she is not going to say what it is because that will contradict everything that they want to do.

Noem is not a lawyer, not that accuracy is ever a concern of yours.

BNI, what's your problem? This has nothing to with adhering to the Constitution. The Constitution doesn't mention immigration.

The one thing that Trump and his cabinet have done that is overwhelming approved by most Americans is stopping illegal immigration, a 94% reduction in the first 100 days. Does any sane person want gangbangers, druggies, human traffickers, Chinese spies and all flavors of criminals pouring into our country unvetted? Do you want us to return to Biden's open border lunacy?

What is your problem? Look it up. We are talking about Habeas Corpus that Noem was dodging in the hearings. Habeas Corpus is in the constitution under Article 1: Section 9. And it applies to ALL people within the US. Not just residents.

Again, you don't have the sack to state a position and defend it. You just avoid and deflect.
But, I think it's safe to assume you're for open borders and don't believe illegal aliens should be deported.
How very liberal of you.....

what year was that written?

I'll state it again....for the umpteenth time....Republicans and conservatives are not against immigration, we're against ILLEGAL immigration. What's so hard about that to understand?

They don’t want to understand it. Democrats have convinced their base that deporting an illegal criminal migrant that Republicans are against immigration.

My position is that people in the country illegally deserve a day in court as guaranteed by the United States Constitution. Your position is that anyone with brown skin should be asked for papers and detained. That's a huge difference. Nobody, INCLUDING ME FOR THE MILLIONTH ****ING TIME, is advocating for this fantasy of open borders. It's absolutely alarming that people like you coexist with us normal, compassionate people.

99% of illegal immigrants are trying to escape poverty or violence in their home countries. Republicans want to make it extremely difficult for them to be here legally. This is what you conveniently leave out of your numerous hate-fueled rants. You don't want a path to citizenship unless it's the elite from those countries.

Thanks for the laugh, katDim. Your "compassion" comes through loud and clear when you assert there is no illegal alien problem because it hasn't affected you personally.

You know, it occurs to me that talking to RWNJs is a losing proposition. When your collective heads are shoved so far up your collective a$$ that you can't even breathe, it makes it hard to comprehend what others are saying. You, sir, fit squarely into this category.

Like the Colonel said, this reflects your idea of a policy discussion.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to obtain legal status? It takes years and thousands of dollars. My son was friends with a young man from Ecuador who came here in the 4th grade and immediately started the process to citizenship. He wasn't granted citizenship until AFTER he graduated from college. Technically by your definition he would have been an illegal for 12 years. You like others have bought into the lie about "illegal" immigration. Gonzalo didn't swim across the Rio Grande, he came by plane on a tourist visa and claimed asylum once he was in the us following all of the rules required and with good cause.

Saying that you are not against immigration is alot like saying the Republicans are for a balanced budget. Current and past data shows that to be a complete lie at the federal level.

Ecuador? Of course asylum was difficult. No one in Ecuador is being persecuted. Migrants go to Ecuador for asylum, not away from it.

In 2000 there was an overthrow of the government. Everyone in ecuador was being persecuted. Thanks for spending 10 seconds to do enough research to appear completely STUPID in your response.

Right, like none of the Biden appointees were unqualified. FFS

If the Biden administration didn't WANT illegals crossing the border then why did this happen?:

Instead of playing games why don’t you tell us if he did or not. All I know is that Noem danced around the Habeas Corpus issue at the hearings.
  • Estimates suggest that a large percentage of those deported during the Obama administration did not have a hearing before an immigration judge. For instance, one report indicated that in 2013, 83% of deportations were "summary removals" carried out without a hearing.
  • Over Obama's eight years, the percentage of removals without a hearing varied, ranging from approximately 58% to 84% annually, averaging about 74%.
In Conclusion:
While precise numbers are unavailable, it's clear that a substantial number of deportations during the Obama administration were carried out through expedited or reinstated removal processes, bypassing a full hearing before an immigration judge.

Very good post that the main stream media will not report on. They will hide this information from the public.

So, why aren't you RWNJs exalting Obama as the next coming of Christ?

How about making healthcare coverage available to millions and saving the financial and automotive industries from collapse? Or was that Trump?
Yeah he most certainly effed up the health care for millions of small business owners. Who cares about high premiums and huge deductibles.
