I listened to his radio post game and didn't say anything about it. IH looked pi&$@; during that span when they showed him on the bench.
Yeah, I just saw that. If Isaac is hurt to a point where it affects playing time, that could be a big problem.
I understand him using them one at a time with them playing man D all of the time BUT he could play them together more often IF he practiced and utilized a 2-3 or a 1-3-1 or a 3-2. He's a fool for not doing that with the makeup of this roster/his personnel. What good does it do for the defense to have a 7'2 280 guy or a 6'9 245 guy hedging on high-ball screens on half of their defensive possessions?
Really stupid game strategy by coach Painter (as usual). Trying to force the ball inside and the ball seldom coming back out even when the defense was collapsing. It seems obvious that the #1 option is to force the ball inside no matter what, when our perimeter shooting is our strong suit. Any true basketball fan could coach this team better than it is now. There is some true talent on this team but it is being wasted by poor coaching decisions. This season will probably end up like last year. Too bad.

Going into the Nebraska game, he was averaging 2.4 TPG. That's a little more than we'd like to see but that's fairly normal for a big that gets the ball in the paint as much as he does for as many minutes as he (typically) plays every game.

What did he do or even better, what did Painter have him do? Nothing in the play by play showing Haas did anything. Score, foul, rebound, turnover.
I would like to have seen IH at the low post and CS at the high post with 3 of our shooters on the perimeter during the last few minutes!
I agree. CS would be better facing the basket with more options to distribute.
Plus if we use a high low post out of a 1-3-1 set it will be tougher for the D to double the low post!
