I know I am jumping ahead but #7 duke lost today

Utah did everything they could to give that game away, including giving up a 4pt play and a TO on the resulting inbounds play in the last 10 seconds of OT.....but the Utes held on.

CMP should take that tape and show it as an instructional video on what NOT to do with a lead down the stretch.

Entertaining game, though.....

Or the Iowa and Iowa State game a week ago. I actually felt sorry for Iowa...for about 10 seconds.

I watched most of that game. Utah got hosed most of the game. Their center Poeltl is a beast. Don't know why they aren't ranked yet.

Duke will drop to 9 in the polls, unranked Utah will jump in the top ten. Eben ifurdue wins there won't be room for us in the top ten so we fall to 11.

With Duke, Kentucky and Iowa State all losing, Purdue would like have moved to # 5 in the USA Today poll. IMHO, a loss now might be a better ingredient to a very successful season going forward than a # 5 ranking Monday morning.

Nobody remembers what you're ranked in December. We need to stop focusing on other teams losing that could bump us up 1 spot in the polls...who cares right now!?
