I was just thinking about who could win B1G 6th Man of the Year. I think it'll be Gabe Olaseni from Iowa because of his effort and rebounding, but do you guys think Isaac Haas could make a run at it? He has been so productive and efficient subbing in for Hammons all year especially lately. He's also improved defensively lately. That could be seen from comparing the two games against OSU. Every time he was in during the first game, Russel would dribble around a screen and either shoot over him or drive past him. Yesterday, It didn't seem like OSU was any better offensively when he or Hammons was in. I just love Haas. When was the last time you've seen a freshman that big be that good and have that much control over his body? Great energy and motor, great attitude and mindset, always willing to learn, plays efficiently, and already has the body of a senior. Can't forget he's only a freshman. I think once he gets more aggressive towards the rim and has that "I'm going to dominate you" or "I must break you" mentality, he will be a great great player. It'll probably happen sooner rather than later too. Excited to see how he progresses throughout his career.
