If you take all the emotion out of the loss it comes down to two things. The first is turnovers, two of our best players had 11. Second and just as important, shot 5-21 from 3. Similar to what Gonzaga shot last night, hard to win shooting that poorly from 3. This team started the year shooting very well from 3 but not so much lately. Good shooting was how the team was able to overcome their weaknesses, didn’t happen tonight. As frustrated as anyone over the inability to take advantage of a golden opportunity but will wait to post more until I have had time to digest another in a long line of disappointments. I will give the Peacocks credit, they were not afraid of Edey and for good reason, he was neutralized.
