Yea, that was a god awful take. Purdue didn’t lose those guys last year, why will they lose them this year? Purdue has the funds.
If and when Paint reaches out to portal players , we won’t or shouldn’t hear about it. After taking care of the core 8 for next year Paint will get that 6-8 athletic power forward who can score to complete this team

I've seen that. Not sure how true it is. I don't see him leaving for money. I think he's happy where he is and Purdue will win next year. So it'd be pretty wild to leave at this point. I think if Purdue can commit 5mil, they can keep the whole team(at least what they want to keep).

My thoughts on portal guys is that paint isn’t going to focus on guards but more so 4/5 guys, two way threats with size and likely the ability to get downhill and create shot opportunities. In older terms C, PF, and maybe SF 6’6” or bigger. Those are the players he was pursuing in the HS guys that all went elsewhere.
We need a guy who can get his own shot vs anyone at anytime. Whether that be a guard or forward, I don’t mind, but that’s something we are lacking this year.
I think we get 2 Bigs, I would like to see Bucknell C or 7'3 Youngstown C to split time w/ DJ and 2nd portal Tae Davis

I like the Nevada guy too, just seems like too many in play for him so that doesn't bode well for us
We don’t need another guard as we have an abundance now unless you have some hit the portal. I think both Harris and Cox have some ability to get downhill and get their shots but that’s not their defined roles especially as freshmen. There is a need for a wing or big man who can play both ways and be able to score at multiple levels and create opportunities

When it comes to transfers, I like the guys CMP likes, he and staff know better than us.
Yes one more big would be the missing piece. Go with 3 we have and weee good to go. Our guards are fine unless one leaves. And Miles and Cam are great on the wing
Ideally, you get a dude like Donovan Dent. He is only 6-2... But he averaged 20ppg at New Mexico this past season.

There will be a couple others like him. Hopefully Baby Pitino is more successful this go around with the Big boys. Would be nice to see Xavier at the top of the Big East.
