2016 Purdue team vs 1994 team

Big Dog would destroy Davis due to his height advantage. I think '94 wins easily.
Yeah, it wouldn't be close. Do you remember how dominant Big Dog was? Consensus NPOY. The 2016 team doesn't have anyone who could remotely stop him nor do they have any combination of players that could keep up with his scoring.
Robinson averaged 30/10 his junior year, and that was with a Brutal Big Ten Conference.
IU was tough, Fab Five, Wisconsin had Finley and big dude that almost came here, etc...
30/10, college basketball will prob never see another college player that was as completely dominant of G Robinson again, in my lifetime. He could play any position on the floor ,was the best athlete, and the best shooter
94 team wins, and to this day should have a National Championship banner hanging if not for his back injury against Duke in Elite 8 game.

1994 easy. That team was awesome in a spectacular B1G. Glenn shot 48% from the floor often double and triple teamed. Best shooter I have ever seen. He would just rise up and shoot over everyone. Ridiculous college player. He could do everything.

Until Purdue finally breaks thru, I will forever think that Rashard Griffith is the guy who cost us a national championship.
Give me either of the FF teams and they beat '94 or 2016. Many more weapons. I loved the 1980 team.
What kinda thread is this? 94 team lost what 4 games. The 94 team would have taken this team out in the woods and thrashed them. 94 team could actually hit 3's. They had a PG who ran the O and played def.
I was a super senior in '94 and I remember how excited the entire campus was about that team. My buddies and I had 4 row in the student section and Mackey was crazy every night.

Unfortunately, that team ran into probably the one team you didn't want to face late in the tourney.
I think that team would have trouble with AJ and Biggie but this current team would have no answer for GRob.
However, like the 94 team, this team has a PG who can't create their own shot or hit a 3.

2016 wins hands down. The guys from 1994 would all be in their 40s now. Not even a fair matchup.
