This is a good offer by Matt Painter and staff......this should help Purdue find out who is seriously considering us at the PG spot for 2016 and have them start to make a decision soon.....

Athletic kid who can handle the ball and plays hard.....will have to change his shooting motion at the college level or he will have many blocked...but plays loose but under control and long and lanky...

6ft 5in can handle the ball, rebound and score from everywhere....has lots of offers and Texas is on him...but Purdue has a chance.

I love tall guards who can run a team and rebound.....ala Keaton Grant style.....but with a feel of a David Teague.

Thanks for the info! Don't know about him, but did a quick google search. Seems like he has a lot of good offers. Good potential. Athletic.

Whether we get him or not, it's nice to see Painter extending his base (New Orleans) and going for talent. With the existing roster the next few years, it could be an enticing opportunity for a promising point guard.

I think this may be Painter trying to put pressure on Simpson to commit. Not really sure how much of a chance we have with this guy since he's a southern kid and haven't heard of any PU involvement til now. He's rated as the #72 prospect though, so it would definitely be a solid pick up. Anyone have info on our chance at landing this guy?

It would be great to get a tall and long PG but not only would this benefit on the offensive end but imho more so on the defensive end. Playing at the top could provide opps for steals and run outs for easy buckets. Been a while since we had that kind of weapon.

Yeah, I agree. He is such a postive guy to have on your side that he only helps Purdue with it's image, no matter what sport. I'm glad to see us putting bait out there for good point guards that fit. There are more than just a couple out there for 2016 and putting all of our eggs in one basket can often be a downer. Now one of them can say "I better jump on board before another one does."
