Just read where the Saints inked Drew for $50M for 2 yrs with $27M guaranteed.
He could have held out to match Jimmy G at 49ers level, but didn't. Will retire a Saint most likely and that is good for N.O. to end that saga.

I think drew should have done why Cousins did and went after a fully guaranteed contract. Maybe 2 yrs for $44 instead of 2 for 50.

As a life long VIkings fan I wondered what the kid was doing also. My guess is he thought he was going to interfere if he made contact. He would have as he was very early, but that obviously would have been better than what happened, depending on perspective
