The team they squeezed by was Rutgers and they lost 49-26 to OSU on national TV. Five point dog to Iowa. If IU loses to Iowa they likely will start 4-1 and still miss a bowl. That would be a very IU thing to do.

As for Purdue, if somebody offers you +31 against OSU you take that allllllll day.

The way it stands, Purdue should have at least 5 wins going into the Indiana game. (Should and Will are two different things though.)
