There are books to be banned, conspiracy theories

Your quote......
"Luckily they reversed their decision"

You are talking about books that are not banned. These are your words. The Republican community put pressure on the School Board....and the Book is no longer banned.

The school board itself suffers from too small a sample size.....and like you say the R community (larger sample size) made them reverse their decision. Thus your overall point is moot.
You are missing the point. The school board, mostly republians decided like other republicans around the country to ban books that they do not want their kids to learn about, particularly black history. In this case it was the evil Rosa Parks that they wanted banned. Fortunately, the community raised enough sand that they reversed their decision. Not sure what the racial makeup of the surrounding community but blacks for sure raised sand about it. And perhaps the whites in the area who may have been republican, also thought that was a bad idea to ban Rosa Parks books. Who knows if you don't live there? But, if it wasn't for the protests locally, the book would have remained banned.

Sorry it was both YOUR point & YOUR example that fell apart.

No books are banned..... except porno books in school libraries.

And good for the Republican community to undo an injustice of their small little R school board.

Since you didn't bother to actually thoroughly research it, for the record:

- Central York School District does not serve the city of York (that'd be the School District of the City of York). Central York School District serves Manchester and North York. So, the make-up of York's city council is irrelevant. It'd be analogous to you saying that Hamilton County is left-leaning because Indianapolis has a Democratic city council and mayor.
- Central York School District's school board has 9 members, 7 are republican
- York County, even with a Democratic-leaning city of York within it, voted as follows in recent elections:
  • 2020 Presidential - Trump (R)
  • 2020 US House - Smucker (R) and Perry (R) (the county is split into two districts)
  • 2022 Senate - Oz (R)
  • 2022 US House - Smucker (R) and Perry (R)
  • 2022 PA Governor - Mastriano (R)
  • And according to THIS, the county is represented in the PA House by one whole Democrat against--if I didn't make an error--7 republicans; and in the Senate by none.
So, It would appear that BNI's theory is far less "shaky" than your suggestion that this school district is in a Democratic area.

Thanks for the update.

Easy her rli, fellow reTrumplican & card carrying Cult45 member here. We’re on the same side. I appreciate the diversity her(gender reveal)rli(3 random letters) brings to the team. It can’t be nothing but us old white guys forever. Truth be told, I’m having a little trouble seeing the numbers on the TV clicker thing. Gettin harder & harder for me to find the Fox News channel so I can know what to be upset about on a daily basis
So PUBV stands for Pub vagina?

Her rli, I think you’re confusing my screen name with the nickname of a dear family member of yours, the one who liked to frequent the local watering hole maybe? Anywho, now that our favorite maga grappler has tapped out, which Cult45’er are you now backing for speaker?
