Type of game that can give you confidence. Purdue’s going to need to do that over the next three games going into ND and conference play.

Nice win against an outmatched opponent. It's good to get back in the win column after a disappointing trip to the Bahamas. I didn't get to see either of those games unfortunately.

The ladies shot really well today (34 of 59 from the field and 9 of 19 from three). They also held down the turnovers to 10 total. They outrebounded Southern 39-29.

Overall, just a nice win to get some confidence back after the disappointment in the Bahamas.

It means we were curbstomping a bad team so get the youngsters some minutes.

I suspect this is one of the benefits of getting in Z and the other new coach as they may be the ones poking KG and letting her know we don't need the starters playing 30 minutes to win this game, give the youngsters minutes now and it will pay off later. Because this has been one area that KG was frankly quite poor at the first two years.
