"if team X didn't have player Y they wouldn't be as good" is the most R-word-ed argument ever and I can't believe people are making it after every game.
Marquette has fans? Weird.
If every other fan base hates you, it means you're winning. I love it!
Marquette is a great team. Why can't people understand that doesn't preclude that Purdue is also great? Both can be true.
I would say Marquette was the most tame of all the fanbases we played.

I'll take the hate of every college basketball fan base in the country and eat it for breakfast while I'm reading about the fact that we are the number one team in the country after beating three of the top eleven other teams.

Let's not act like this is anything new. Losing diehards can get big mad, just like we can.

I watch Edeys feet on most offensive possessions and he takes deliberate care to keep one out after 3 from what I have watched
Have to have both feet out I believe. 3 second count continues if one foot still in. A move toward a scoring stops the 3 second count. The count continues if there is no shot.
1 foot in qualifies as being in the lane. You have to get them both out to reset the count. I think he gets away with it some.
I thought I read somewhere that he'll lift the inside foot causing a reset. Is that possible?
The good thing is, I am not sure we are anywhere near our best yet. I think there are a couple of guys on the bench that will step up as the season goes on, and take us over the top.
Surprisingly we are currently ranked 19th in the nation for 3pt percentage.

Need to explain this to all fan bases who complains about edey camping out there and fouling “so much”.
Furst and Heide come to mind and we will need Colvins shooting in the tourney. I know Gillis had butterfingers in Hawaii but as long as he can continue to be solid in the minutes he gets, he will help out too!
When we win, it's a bit silly for other fanbases to point out that Purdue is so good because we have Edey. It's silly because it's so obvious. Most of us would agree with those fans.
