Miami (OH) 's last recruiting class has a Matt Skibinski ( 3 star Tackle) in it. Is he any relation to former Purdue FB John Skibinski? Chuck Martin did a nice job at getting the 2 ranked MAC class this past year.

unlikely, but not impossible.

John was 6-0 222, and is now 59. Not unheard of, but would have been 41 when the kid was born.

Also... This kid is 6-5 and 270. Again, not impossible, just doesn't fit. Besides, the articles would have highlighted it if there was such a connection.

I have no idea, but this comment made me think of me. My dad was 5'9" 190 out of high school. I was 6'4" 300.

My dad was 6-3, 200 coming out of high school.

I was 6-0 170, but grew a lot more in college.

Still doesn't change the point. It's not likely.

I don't know if this is John's son. But I did have classes with John S while at Purdue and yet I don't consider myself one of the "Older Fans" . Harummph!
