Perhaps I missed reading it in any of these post game posts but I thought the play calling on that four down series said it all about Purdue's approach to this game. I think one of the announcers offered the suggestion that a naked bootleg play might have been wide open. I was thinking the same thing. I am surprised that I haven't seen several comments about that moment in the game. It not only challenged our manliness but really jacked up their defense and the crowd. I remember Peyton Manning doing that a couple of times a year and it worked every time as he jogged in for a touchdown.
