I'm not sure why we didn't stick with Tre and Haarms in OT...
But they left it on the floor and the future is bright .

D@mn. To come all this way. Basically had it in hand if we could have blocked out on the back end of that one and one at the end of regulation. It was a great run, and I have to say thanks to the guys for the herculean effort.
No doubt.....UVA (one of the top teams in the country) played a very good game....and the Boilers were right there.
Tough way to lose, though.

He disappeared in the second half. But he had a pretty good first half.
Wasn’t his bad on the pass, but the missed free throw and completely not showing up on defense definitely played a huge part. He did get us here though.
Think they were expecting UVA to give the foul, so the quick pass from Carsen to Cline to at least get a shot at a 3. I think it was a pretty good idea, but poor execution.
1 more free throw and we win in regulation. Oh well. Hell of a run fellas.

Pretty inexcusable having Eifert on the block boxing out Diakite on the missed Ft in regulation instead of Williams.
But amazing level of play by Purdue.
Without Carsen? Doubtful.
Like when Virginia Tech had their chance in Football with Vick. These opportunities don’t come around often.
With the Carsen banked 3, I thought that Lady Luck had finally decided to jump to our side...instead, she gave UVA the missed FT, tip out, and last split second mid-range jumper...damn.
Best NCAA tourney game ive seen in a while. Dont be too hard on Cline, would not have been in this game without him
Nonsense. The future is very bright. We don’t have another Carsen, but who thought this team was a FT away from a FF at the beginning of the season. This was, as they say in Bloomington, a complete rebuild with what we lost last year. We’ll be back sooner than later.
Terp fan here. Was pulling hard for you guys. Your team has been fun to watch. And I can't think of anything I hate more than virginia.
