Yawn

Groups would be Who, Queen, grateful dead, the Stones, but I'm mostly a blues fan. Clapton, Keb Mo, Buddy Guy and of course BB King along with a host of others.
Got to see Clapton at Verizon/Klipsch/whatever the name today about four years ago. Fortunate to get seats in the third row....might be the best show I've ever seen. He just keeps getting better.

People. Stop replying to this dumb a$$ thread. I hate seeing it on the very top of this forum every freaking day. The strategy of talking about music or what you did to you wife last night DOES NOT WORK. Just ignore it and it will be on the very bottom of the forum, where it belongs. If you can't ignore it then you have no self control...

BTW, don't f#cking reply to this so it will in the bottom of this forum. Thank you.

So what you're saying is you're "not like everybody else"?? Got it. :eye roll:

I'm enjoying the thread. I don't recall any discussions about your wife. That would be rude.
You can also just ignore the thread, unless of course you have no self control.

This has to be the most beautiful thing I've seen on the Internet for 2016.

I'm going to try those shuffling moves now. If I don't post for a few days, it'll probably be because I broke my damned legs.

He played Woodbury's Supper Club in Muncie a lot....and everytime he played they had to fix the ceiling because he'd punch holes in it. Great entertainer from Georgia. Good luck on the moves and make sure you put some slip n' slide on the floor.

Hell yes, Pit. Peg, Hey Nineteen, Dirty Work, etc.

Do you know who played drums in a band with Donald Fagen before Steely Dan?[/Q

Nice bit of trivia Tex..........."I like it"!

Gotta chime in here. My favorite bands were the ones who could reproduce their studio material live: Rush, Yes, Allman Brothers, Thin Lizzy, Genesis, Kansas, LZ, CTA, you get the idea. No I didn't get to see them all live but thank goodness for some great recordings rescued from dusty shelves.

I am for the most part too young to have enjoyed most of these groups in their prime. I always look back and remember riding with dad jamming out to the classics like The Beach Boys and The Doobie Brothers, along with Alabama.
