Xavier has won the past FIVE games against Purdue! Need to change that and not let history repeat itself tomorrow!
THESE!!!Looking forward to some match up articles later today and tomorrow. Will be interesting to see how we stack up against them. I think this is going to be a nice step up before taking on Gonzaga.
Some interesting games coming up this week:
Duke lost to Arizona (Friday)
Kansas and Kentucky (later today)
Michigan and St. John's (Tomorrow)
Purdue and Xavier (Tomorrow)
Duke and Michigan State (Tuesday)
Marquette and Illinois (Tuesday)
Creighton and Iowa (Tuesday)
San Diego State and St. Mary's (Friday)
Villanova and Maryland (Friday)
UConn and Indiana (Sunday)
That will all set the table for Gonzaga on Monday the 20th. Don't hold your breath, but if Kansas falls to Kentucky (short handed - 3 different 7 footers out for today's game will make it hard to defend Hunter Dickenson) it's likely Purdue is ranked #1 on Monday.
Hunter is out I believe for the season and they have another guy out as well.
I think their physical style of play will be disruptive but hoping we find our groove and take care of business.

Their big guy - Freemantle, he's good and out for the season as well.
Edit: didn't realize how good - average 16/8/3 in 28mpg, big loss
Djokovic is out? Man, thought we got rid of he vaccine requirement for foreigners. SMH. (TIC)Also, forward Djokovic is questionable for tonight's game with a hand injury.

Thanks for the update. Hopefully as the season goes on Xavier will be Q1 or 2 win for us. If you didn’t know, they hired the better Miller brotheras I know Beef is on pins and needles - Djokovic(s) updates:
Lazar - Xavier fans finally had the chance to watch freshman forward Lazar Djokovic play in a real game Friday night. Djokovic posted seven points on 3-of-5 shooting including 1-of-2 from 3-point range to go with four rebounds, a steal, and two turnovers in 17 minutes of action in XU's 74-71 loss to Washington in the Continental Tire Main Event in Las Vegas.
Novak - survived a chance to be eliminated if Holger Rune had beaten Jannik Sinner in round robin play - then torched Carlos Alcaraz in SF's and Jannik Sinner in Final to win the ATP Finals championship for a record 7th time.....crazy level for a 36+ yr old tennis professional, who seemingly doesn't age like the rest of us.
