This was Purdue’s second game against a top 10 team in 2 days, while Creighton did not play on Friday. That was definitely a factor.Purdue fought back from being as much as 6 pts behind and had two set points which they failed to convert. The Boilers then lost in extra points 25-27 and lost the match 1-3. I thought defensively we just could not match Creighton's offensive prowess.
A very disappointing weekend so far. Shondell did not come to the mic after the game but assistant coach John Klanac said they played better in many respects than the Kansas game but other than that could not add much insight into Purdue's woes.

Yea, Dave is old school in regards to the portal, this season was a year he probably should have brought in a skilled back row player. He’s a good Coach but he hasn’t been to a Final 4, this is a team with some elite talent, just not sure there’s enough depth and top level players after the 3-4 that you mentioned.Posted this on the other site. It appears we have 4 super players and another 2 very good players. The rest are just so so it appears and haven't gotten significantly better over the last few years and the new class didn't have really great players except for maybe the libero.
The other really good teams have great players up and down the lineup
