would you rather have Ky or IU win?

I was marginally rooting for Kentucky but felt dirty about it. I texted my sister in Southern IN who wasn't watching the game, telling her it was close. And she in fact replied just as IU won, "I'm guessing IU won because I keep hearing guns go off." hahahahahaha...ROFL

Not as funny as you think John.

Kentucky because their fans are not an impossible nuisance on this board!!! Plus we would have to see posts for at least a year about how great IU is, how they won the regular season title, how they beat Ky, how they went to the sweet sixteen, blah, blah, blah. Hoping we are spared all that by a Kentucky win.
It's so nice knowing that you are keeping score of how much better IU was this year.

Yes, West Lafayette is so cultured...what a joke....
Yes, it is. Seriously, WL, Bloomington, South Bend and many other Indiana college towns collectively raise the entire state's intelligence quotient. That doesn't change the fact that something that sounded like guns were going off in rural Indiana at the conclusion of the game. Seemed fitting and humorous considering the sizable dim witted fair weather IU fan base consisting of people with no real school affiliation.

lol, rotfl, that is some righteous commentary!!!!! love it. to answer the question. I want neither team to win or have the joy of winning. I want it to be a 29-29 tie and the lights go out with a blizzard of epic proportions in Des Moines. keeping all the fans and teams holed up in Des Moines for 20 days until the National Guard can dig them out. They will live on C-rations for those 20 days and have to keep warm with bunson burners. Calipari will retire due to hearing how he needs to play a home-and-home series with Indiana every single day during the snow-in. Tom Crean will turn white and try to invent a way to tan with bunson burners. He also teaches 16,000 fans how to sing Kumbaya and invents Clap-time yoga, which he later patents.
Clap-time yoga or Yogi.... LOL

I must admit, I found myself pulling for IU yesterday, and I couldn't quite figure out why. I do live in Louisville, and I do have a bunch of obnoxious UK friends, but yesterday I didn't feel like that was reason enough for me to be pulling for the Hoosiers, but nevertheless I was.

Then it hit me today. There's only one thing I hate more than IU...

The SEC.

The sec sucks when it comes to basketball. No wonder Kentucky wins the season and tournament title.

I admit I'm surprised by this. I mean I have a healthy dislike of our Purdue rivals. But if Purdue were playing Kentucky I would be the biggest Boilermaker in the country for a couple of hours. Hell if Voldermort were playing Kentucky I would be a Death Eater for a couple of hours.

I think the responses here sort of point out that Purdue hates IU way more than IU hates Purdue. And IU hates UK way more than UK hates IU.

kentucky is just a back-woods, moonshine, dead-horse-racing, & backwards place, ,,,, why do Micky-D's all-americans go there, it just makes no sense. why can't we get those guys? i look at the scout.com and see KY & Duke with all the good players in the top 20, why why why do I not see a gold "P" next to the committed column.......UGH

I hate UK and all things Kentucky. But Lexington is NOT back-woods. There is a ton of money there. Amazing horse farms. It's beautiful.
