Let's say a new coach started Monday. Would we accept this?
thank for the opportunity to coach here at Purdue University. My goals include.
-winning lots of regular season games, but may the conference champ only once every 10-12 years
-I don't expect to go beyond the sweet sixteen for 11-12 years. 2026 or 2027
-I expect we will make tournament a bit over 75% of the time; but don't expect to go far
-I think we may get beyond the sweet sixteen in year 13 or 14 (2029 or 2030)
I think that's where someone people have "settled". Since Gene Keady didn't make the elite 8 until many years in. We are fine since painter has better tournament record at this point in career vs keady.
I borrow someone else post. But at this point half of us are that freaking Direct TV commercial.
