N. Florida did it again to a Big Ten team. W. Illinois is a surprise though. Opening night fun stuff.

The upper tier of the league this year looks to be Purdue, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, and Michigan State. Wisconsin looks really bad on defense.

Not surprising Illinois lost given how many guys they were missing and how good North Florida is.

IL doesn't have a coach any more than the Loosier's do. Bo will likely fix Wisky. Bo knows defense.

I agree that Bo will make them better as the season goes on. That said there is no way they should have been in the pre-season top 20. It was on reputation only and not on what they actually have this year.

Agreed. I don't know how they were preseason ranked as they lost most of their good players and didn't have anyone that great coming in.

They will improve and be good defensively, but will not be your typical Wisconsin team.

I think that this the season where Wisconsin finishes outside of the top four in the Big Ten, but I'll be shocked if they miss the NCAA Tournament. My guess is that they'll finish sixth behind Maryland, Purdue, MSU, IU, and Michigan.
