I see we received a crystal ball pick for Winston Berglund from Carmel.
Yeah he was offered by Michigan and visited them last month.Hes a stud.
Word. And Michigan wanted him enough to visit so he’s probably not terrible unless anyone can just visit on their ownYeah, kind of a LB/S hybrid.
wonder if he's related to Mike Berglund.Word. And Michigan wanted him enough to visit so he’s probably not terrible unless anyone can just visit on their own
Or David berg.. then we can play Georgia. Because he’ll really know how to … Cover some dogs 😂😂wonder if he's related to Mike Berglund.
the reason I asked was I knew a Mike Berglund while at Purdue from 74-78.Or David berg.. then we can play Georgia. Because he’ll really know how to … Cover some dogs 😂😂
I was born in 77… thanks for having all the wild fun before Purdue became lame relatively speaking. I’ve heard the storiesthe reason I asked was I knew a Mike Berglund while at Purdue from 74-78.
Committed!
Different position. Abrams came in as a DB. he is coming in as the hybrid nickel that Graham plays and may eat his way into a LBHow does he compare to Jacob Abrams at same age?
So bigger, stronger?Different position. Abrams came in as a DB. he is coming in as the hybrid nickel that Graham plays and may eat his way into a LB
Yes, but he also has great form when tackling. Keeps his head up and wraps up. He doesn’t miss too often.Kid is a hitter! He's going to be fun to watch.

like Jack GreerLove that this is a in state kid that grew up a Purdue fan
I get the comparison. But Stu was a free safety. Crazy range. Easily the best free safety Purdue has had since that time...Would love the Stu comparison to come true.
This does make a Good Friday Great!!! Noticed that there is another Carmel player that Winston may be able to help land at Purdue.
Always sounded like we were booing the team when everyone would yell his name.I remember when Stu was being recruited. It was a pretty big deal here and on Steve’s Gridiron forum. Good times. Stuuuuu
Not like Stu from everything that’s said. More like Graham. Stu was Graham’s size and could do anything Graham could do while also playing centerfield deep. Where as you can watch Graham’s freshman year and see why he got moved to that 5th guy in a 4-2-5 role.Would love the Stu comparison to come true.

Watched a few minutes of Will Heldt's highlights and agree, get him onboard ASAP. Long, quick, & strong enough to make plays.Hopefully can get his teammate Heldt to hop on board.
Would he be a DT or OT at 6’6”?Watched a few minutes of Will Heldt's highlights and agree, get him onboard ASAP. Long, quick, & strong enough to make plays.
Will Heldt
Check his speed first. With those edge instincts, I’d rather him be 265-275 if his motor is good enough. Making diving tackles before RB’s hit the edge and break for long gains is a difference maker. A good bull rush like George Karlaftis can be disruptive as well. If he doesn’t have that kind of motor, then OT. Matt Light was a TE coming in not DE, but did quite well for himself. Not sure what Kelly Butler was like coming in. If I recall correctly, he was ready to go without a position change.Would he be a DT or OT at 6’6”?
That’s when I was at Purduethe reason I asked was I knew a Mike Berglund while at Purdue from 74-78.
later became a Delt I believeI knew Mike … lived in Cary Quad E fall of 74’ or spring of 75’?
