Why we are looking UNBEATABLE!

Why? The post feed pass! It has looked awesome the last 3 games (including today)! Much better angles and much more crispness to the feeds. I can't tell you how frustrating it is for a big man to work his arse off to prepare himself for a post feed and to then get a flimsy floppy pass thrown to him. I think it was frustrating the HECK out of AJ. The feeds now are MUCH crisper and it's causing our bigs to work that much harder!

Our spacing is much improved too. We are isolating the big man and the passer on one side of court much more. Helps big man to actually have room to operate.

So better post feeds and better passing opens up everything else! We are shooting from outside better because of the two things above.

Bottom line - this team is soooo enjoyable to watch. The skills these big men are showing speaks volumes to which ever coach is working with our bigs. Wow!

Keep it going! Boiler Up!

We also are playing better defense. More hustle to the ball and double teams to apply pressure in selected spots.

I've got to tell you guys (apart from all the banter back and forth between IU and Purdue fans) that this Boiler team is clicking at the right time and I have already penciled them in as the tourney champion for the BTT. Regardless if it is MSU or Maryland, I don't see either of those teams stopping Purdue. Purdue is playing at a high level and see them in my Final Four this year.
Nobody in the conference is playing better than Purdue at this point. Great time to get hot. Congrats.

Purdue looks darn good, I said before the season Purdue would win the Big Ten outright. This is the team I expected to see all year long. With your bigs, it would be a travesty if Purdue doesn't make the Final Four. Guard play is the question, I guess.

I think MSU is still the team to beat this year. Izzo is such an excellent coach and it shows every March. PU and MSU should both make the FF IMO.

I was just thinking how interesting it would be for one Indiana school to win the regular season and one to win the BTT. Doubt that's happened before. Personally though I'm not sure Purdue can handle MSU, hopefully the Maryland/MSU game is very taxing and the winner is tired tomorrow.

Hopefully it goes into four overtimes.

Purdue has got an absolutely excellent shot of dominating either MSU or Maryland tomorrow. I see a victory by no less than 10 points for Purdue either way. Your team looks unstoppable at this point in the season.

We are playing well but MSU is also playing at a high level. We won't dominate them. I think any of us would take that win any way we could get it.

If IU wins this torney they might jump to a 1. Purdue wins and they barely move up a line by the experts. Such disrespect....

IU wasn't going to be a #1 no matter what they did in this tourney. Don't listen to everything your hear from IU fans or the Indy media. Their ceiling was a #2 and I think they needed certain teams to lose to make that happen.

If IU had won the tournament, they might have been a 3. I don't think they ever had the overall respect of those making the seeding's to get higher. In all fairness, if we win, I . expect we would get a 4 for sure, and probably a 3. About the same. I think the selection committee might give MSU a 2 if they win out, and a 3 if they don't . Just MHO.

Shorter bench
Better...MUCH better guard play
Better...MUCH better effort and urgency
Better...MUCH better shot selection

In a nutshell...we are a more intelligent and basketball savvy team today.

Purdue could win it outright tomorrow. They don't allow playing to a tie! ;) ;):p

If Purdue beats Sparty tomorrow, I think we move up to a 3 seed in the NCAA tourney. Tomorrow's going to be a tough game, but I like the way we're playing right now.....even if Clark Kellogg and Seth Davis think Maryland has more talent than Purdue so MSU should win tomorrow. Sorry guys, but Melo Trimble has to be the most over-rated player out there. He went 2 for whatever today..

4 games away from the final four, yea we will have to beat a good team. but we've already proven we could beat ANY of the top four #1 seeds in the country due to what we did today against Michigan

Purdue's front line is one of the best...if not... the best in the country. If our perimeter shooters are hitting...other teams cannot double down on our bigs and our bigs are difficult to defend one on one. When we are hitting from the outside...Purdue is very difficult to beat. I cannot recall Purdue having a frontline with this much size and talent. Painter and staff are to be congratulated for putting this team together.
