That's right. The extra practice time is huge for development of younger and less-used players. It's also an effective recruiting tool. Brohm has something to point to and show how the new recruits can help lead Purdue further up the foodchain.

Yes, they get an extra couple weeks of practice that they normally wouldn't have. Also a little extra exposure doesn't hurt either.

Well, at least haven't had since a few of Hope's seasons. Tiller had us in bowls with regularity and the fanbase took it for granted after awhile.
