It's a serious question: What programs are recruiting Isaiah Thompson?
The pundits have jumped on reporting about others in the portal but I haven't heard boo about IT even though at least one site had him fairly highly rated. Is he taking visits? Waiting for the phone to ring? What?
It has implications for Purdue too. If Purdue is fortunate enough to get Pack or someone else to be the lead PG, but not right away, then the available minutes are at SG and the merry-go-round might be emptying by then. There's no basis yet to the EHJ speculation. But to me IT would also be in the mix, just as Alaimo scooted into the portal and right back out; it does happen.
He's got up to two years if he wants them. That might be the complicating factor.
P.S. Is it just me or does Rivals need to step up its BB Recruiting tech to accommodate the portal, if it doesn't want to lose the portal recruiting new biz to others?
