Yesterday Dakari Johnson (UK soph backup center with similar size/skill to AJ) declared. He has an agent. Expected to go late first round, or more likely early 2nd. Positioned ahead of AJ in every mock draft, so assume this knocks AJ down another rung on the draft ladder for centers.

I love how Grayson Allen from Duke is on here. The guy had 1 game people noticed him. On the season, he averaged 4 points a game.

Seems to be an alarming trend of going early or transferring. I expect spring Creaning at IU but SIU-C has lost 5 guys to transfer, Murray State has a legit guard declaring and a forward transferring. Saw where Mizzou has 3 guys transferring. Seems to be happening everywhere. Think part of it is being pandered to in HS and not being able to accept being a role player instead of a star in college. Bigger problem for me is that these guys are doing this knowing they will have to sit out a year. OK so instead of working and maybe getting more minutes where you are you're going to go somewhere else and sit for a year and possibly have them recruit over you after you get there. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

As you said yourself, a lot of it is pandering to high school athletes and when they get to college they simply can't handle not being given everything they want. I am assuming a lot of these kids get to college and simply assume it's going to daisies and sleeping in every day, and when it isn't they simply think moving on is easier than putting work in. Simply put..some of these players feel privileged and when they don't get what they want, they move on.

I undrstand that SIU-C probably still has Painter's grody cooties on it, and he flirted with Mizzou so that's the obvious connection there, but I don't believe that Murray State could possibly be having any transfers.

What's Painter's connection to Murray State?

I think Hammons is going to return because of where he will be projected and because I think he gets along well with most or all of the returning guys. He can help guide the '15-'16 team to greater success than this past season, which was definitely a needed turnaround in its own right.

Plus, who else can Haas hang out with that's his size?:

A.J.'s never looked so small

Good thing Haas doesn't play football....he'd never find a helmet to fit that head. He does make AJ look sort or "small".
