We have some great shooters going into next season
agreed we "should".
We've thought that and been wrong before.
Problem is, "Best" - could mean several different things.
Highest shooting % is often the goal.
Or could be most made for the season.
Or hottest down the stretch of the season.
Or can get his shot off and make them when others can't.
Each of those could have a different "best". ;)

Jacobsen could surprise some people. He adds another dimension. Cluff or TKR could be in the paint and he could bomb away from the three. Admittedly I don’t see him as our top 3 point shooter. But I do see him as a weapon that many will ignore.

I'm sure DJ will hit some just see him in the paint for the most part even TKR and Burgess can hit them , we have a lot of 3 capability.

Loyer as many point might be the highest %.

But I suspect Benter might surpass his % on lower volume.

But L sometimes seems to be a guy that is easier to guard 1/1 than some on the list and can disappear. But great weapon to have that every B10 team would want....lucky to have him as a Boiler.

Nailed it. 'Best' is inherently subjective.

If it's simply who is most likely to hit a random three point shot taken on percentage, it's pretty clearly Loyer. He's I believe had the best percentage almost every season he's been here.

Now, if I need a 3 with the game on the line, Smith feels like the more "clutch" option to me.

+1 and I think we'll likely have a chance to say the same thing about all of them from game to game.

I remember Cox hitting those 3 - 3's in the second half of the Bama game , changed everything, 1 person on any given day can change the dynamics of a game with a 3 pt shot. This team has a collective of people who can change each game that's what's so exciting.
