I think the new AD told Haznutt he would give him half a season to show the changes made last fall took. The Iowa game was a typical DH2 disaster and true to form DH2 never won consecutive games. I got a text from an old girlfriend who is an Iowa alum to razz me at halftime the game was so awful. I'm sure the first half of the game did it. I'm sure Iowa's coach didn't want to run up the score for fear of losing DH2 as an easy win on the schedule. We don't need to get in a situation where we make a last second hire because the first two didn't sign on. A bird in the hand...
