You obviously have no idea how advertising or propaganda works. It is not one person worried about being called a pedophile enabler, it is the community or the market. As I said earlier, people buy and drink poison or buy things they don't need and some afterwards say they never saw the product or service advertised. Do you have any idea how many judicial convictions are overturned? Maybe you should do some research.

If you go back and read my posts again you would see that I did not specify any religion. I responded to another poster's questions to show that it included the majority of religious people in the US.

It sound like you may be a professor who is against praying and would rather live in a robotic society where the government tells you what to do and think. And if they decree someone is guilty, then their word goes and you cannot dispute it. Good luck in that world but I have had friends who lived in those countries and I hope you get to move somewhere where you can experience it.

One thing I want to be clear about is that even though Sandusky's heart was in the right position I do think that he went beyond boundaries. And there should have be some consequence to his actions. And I am fine giving those child rapist caught in the act or who admitted to these terrific acts 30 year prison terms.

Spoiler alert - sex offenses are some of the hardest cases because people like you want DNA evidence in cases of molestation that aren’t disclosed by the victims for years.

how many convictions are overturned? Not very damn many. I read the court of appeals opinions on the regular. It’s not that it never happens, but it’s incredibly rare as a percentage.

You 100% identified what you called the “three major faiths” as being, surprise surprise, the Abrahamic faiths.

If you look back, I talked about praying for the Purdue players health because we have had a rash of injuries. Another poster mentioned that we should have a touchdown Jesus which is what Notre Dame has. I suggested a plaque of the Ten Commandment because our country was built on Judeo-Christian principles. I included Islam because President Obama said we were built on Islamic principles. And yes, I thought they were the 3 major faiths in the US and yes I was surprised at the low % of Muslims and Jews in the country. However, this shows that I am also a victim of propaganda because I hear those 2 religions so much that I thought they were a lot larger.

I would think as a criminal trial attorney there are many facts not available at the time of the trial that if you were hired that you could show just cause for a second trial for Sandusky.

And BTW, I have a good friend who was in prison for almost 5 years. The Texas Supreme Court vacated his sentence. He was not released for a little over a year AFTER they vacated his sentence.
