In my youth Sporting News was a baseball FIRST 52 weeks a year.Of course at 85 Baseball in my youth paid the best but most of the players had jobs in the off season.Let's face facts Ted Williams best year was $125,000 a year so now an outfield of Williams,Joe D and Stan the Man would cost 300 mil per summer( or more).
