I agree. I really hope he gets it together and fulfills the promise he showed as a freshman.Furst looks pretty buff to me. He came in big a big ten ready body, so maybe not as noticeable.
Edey returning wasn’t the best of news for Caleb, next year he’ll every every opportunity to start and play 25 minutes a night.I agree. I really hope he gets it together and fulfills the promise he showed as a freshman.
Maybe you should get your prescription checked. Most boilers increase their size and weight looks like he and Loyer miss the workouts
He’s playing out of position. Furst is chiseled as hell. He’s just not a great shooter. He’s a 5, not a 4.Most boilers increase their size and weight looks like he and Loyer miss the workouts
and lats (rebounding) and triceps (dribbling and shooting)Loyer doesn't have the body to put on noticeable muscle. But I'd wager his bench press is up pretty significantly since arriving on campus.
The problem is he SHOULD BE a better shooter! Shooting is something that can be improved a lot. Can help quickness and strength as well as quicker reads on O and D, but shooting is something you can make huge strides in...just need the "proper" repsHe’s playing out of position. He does not fit Purdue's scheme at all at the 4. When he's in he's trys to play the Gillis/Eifert role which doesn't suit him at all. Hes not that type of effort/glue guy that can consistently hit open 3s. If he played at the 5 with a style like Haarms, I think he would thrive. He’s playing out of position. You mean unlike last season when he played great with Zach and was a significant force on the glass? He does not fit Purdue's scheme at all at the 4. Well uhhh that was a …different scheme…right? You mean unlike last season when he played great with Zach and was a significant force on the glass?
He's not bad at the 4. I believe anyone opposite of Edey is going to grab boards because of all the attention on Zach. I think Furst gives it his all when hes on the court. By saying he's not an effort/glue guy I mean that he has the potential and abilities to have more of an impact. Hopefully he'll get his chance next season and will shine. You mean unlike last season when he played great with Zach and was a significant force on the glass?
bigtime, doesn't get off his feet quick and brings the ball down which gets him into troubleHe has real trouble scoring close to the basket against good defenders.
