Interesting, but probably just background for a bigger story...

301 student athletes involved in various incidents.Must be one hell of a lot of "student"-athletes named if they will have to hire a part time employee just to handle the request. May be one of the M$U windbags can come over today and sweep this one under the rug.
They are investigating excellence. And MSU is guilty as charged.
This particular one is MSU specific I think. But ESPN has for the last 2 or 3 years been actively investigating sexual harassment by athletes at various Universities. Is this MSU-specific (the investigation, not the court case), or is ESPN investigating whether college athletes in general were allowed preferential treatment?
If it's a broader investigation, have other universities attempted to redact names of suspects?
That's one part but ESPN isnt limiting it to just sexual offenses.I wonder if it's related to this:

I'm sure nothing will come of this investigation. After all the hard core prosecutor in E Lansing is a U of M grad!!!!!
He was raised in East Lansing and only went to Michigan for Law School. He's a politician. He got elected in Lansing. Politics makes for strange bedfellows.
