What about Ryan Silverfield at Memphis..?

Been a dominate G5 program since his hiring in 2000 but is mid-pack salary-wise in the AAC…
Not for head coach, but just heard a stat on the Ohio D coordinator, Ohio has only allowed 12 points in the first quarter through 10 games this year. That's pretty impressive.

Tim Albin is the head coach at Ohio. He was on Frank Solich's first staff there way back in 2005. He had a major hand in building that program over the past two decades and has done a great job maintaining it since Solich retired.

I am NOT advocating Albin for Purdue. He's 59, has limited head coaching experience, and seems to be rooted at Ohio. I am pointing out how important it is to have the right guy running your program. And Albin is absolutely the ideal fit at Ohio.

Other Memphis connection: Norvell from FSU. Was at Memphis previously.
FSU probably going to end up 2-10 this year after coming into the season with playoffs and NC aspirations. I think Norvell stays but if he were fired, I'd love for Purdue to scoop him up.
