Wasn't it ten years ago that Mike Davis was saying this after a late season flame out and first round BTT that sealed their NIT fate? I think Painter will make a better go at it.

An Iowa team without anyone missing will be an extremely tough out for Purdue. They can do it, but it wouldn't be a game I would bet on.
Michigan was the #4 seed, but had to later vacate the title.
Other than that, Iowa is the only seed higher than a #3 to win the BTT.....as a #6 over Indiana in 2001.
The top #2 seeds have won it 13 of the 17 years. Lower seeded teams have made it to the final, but it's usually the top seeds that end up winning. It's difficult to win 4 games in 4 days.
Yeah....Olesani had 16 rebounds, 11 which were offensive, off the bench.
This game will be a battle for sure.
Maybe, but they'll have a game feel for the floor, they'll have a game feel for the rims, and they will have experience with the crowd noise and the background lights and colors.
I think that advantage is a huge one and it's a good thing PU has come from behind a few times this year for a win.
I hope they do have all their guys. All I want is all of our guys ready to lock down on D, rebound and make a few perimeter shots. Please!
