Welcome To The NFL

Glad I saw this. I really hate the internet and its (mis)information. I read that the game started a 4, and the time zone wasn't mentioned, so I was waiting for the game to start. Then the next bad thing was that it mentioned elsewhere that the game wouldn't be carried locally. But lo and behold, I turned on my TV and halftime was just starting. Perhaps I'll be able to see the highlights, and at least the second half.

He started, and played the whole first half. NFL Network will carry the whole game later this week. Raiders announcers couldn't stop raving about him.

I've been following Raider Nation since the draft. Everyone seems high on O'Connell. 4 years ago who would have thought?

The question for AOC is whether he's above Hoyer on the depth chart. He's been around forever and is probably there because of his connection to McDaniels from their days in New England. Hoyer didn't play yesterday which makes me curious. If AOC can beat out Hoyer for #2 then he will see plenty of action because we know Jimmy G can't stay healthy.

Whoever replaced AOC in the 4th quarter looked pretty bad. And I didn't like it that he was smiling after throwing a ball that was batted high in the air and that could have been easily intercepted/

Yeah.....Jimmy G is somewhat like a more injury prone Kirk Cousins......can look really promising and tease you, but sooner or later, you know the big mistake or sack at the worst time is coming.

Jimmy G and Hoyer got their work in during the joint practices. It was the plan to get AOC's work in during the game.

Looking on the site formerly known as Twitter, I would say that Raiders Nation is also very high on Aiden. They're ready for him to start. Also, didn't they draft Aiden in like the 4th round. Usually you don't use picks like that to bury a guy on the draft chart. He might not start, but with how he's playing, no way does he stay behind Hoyer, who is OK but older and doesn't have Aiden's future potential.
