Beats whatever we had blocking shots this year, that's for sure. He had 25 in 30 games. Entering the tournament TKR led us with 9. Then he got a couple in the tournament I think.

Sure, he does. Painter doen't guarantee anything, but he absolutely lays out a vision for how they plan to use a player.
I mean yeah, he has to give them an idea that they're going to be a big part of the program, especially coming in as a junior or senior. But that's different than saying you're going to get 30mpg.
Totally agree. It’s ‘here’s how we see your role and how we plan to use you, we want you to come in and compete’. I’d imagine the specific story here is that they expect both he and DJ to play minutes at the five with the potential for them to possibly play some minutes together while Trey is out.
I said “chance” which means a possibility of something happening…
thats not a guarantee. I know Painter is an “earned not given” coach but I guarantee he tells recruits they have a chance or no one would be signing with Purdue.
