I did not watch the game. Followed along on gamecast. Were the conditions so bad that we could not throw the ball effectively? Looking at the boxscore it appears neither Purdue QB was effective. How was Eastern Michigan able to throw all over us but we couldnt do the same to them?

Should not have been a factor. They practiced with wet balls all week. Big difference was pash rush, their QB had all the time in the world to throw.
Sindelar threw it pretty good his first 5 passes, then after that he was off. Blough didn't throw well. Just my opinion But Eastern Michigan QB's threw it well when needed
the eastern michigan qb had no trouble picking our secondary apart. they made the plays and we made mistakes. our defensive secondary is awful. 14 and 24 cant cover anyone.
Cason, 24, was bad and got "jacked up" on a big play. Got blindsided by a blocker.
CB’s were put on an island frequently and EMU made them pay more often than not. Smiley being out is a bigger loss than I anticipated.
