We will know more tomorrow...

is the deadline midnight tonight?
Just because I had an issue that got blown ALL out of proportion - Midnight tonight was 12:00am LAST night (this morning). Midnight tonight, as it is usually understood, is really midnight tomorrow. That's why 11:59PM today is the accepted deadline for "tonight."

So, If I say that the deadline for something (A BID for instance) is Midnight, Wednesday, May 24th, legally, that means it had to be submitted before midnight last night (this morning).

He absolutely does NOT strike me as an attention grabber, so it's not as if he's smiling quietly to himself knowing that we're all hanging on.

I suspect if he knew he was returning to Purdue that he'd simply announce it and be done with it. Since that hasn't happened, I'm guessing there are either still continuing discussions or that he's decided to remain in the draft and will quietly let the deadline pass.

As he and Barnes have said all along, it's a business decision, not a social media blitz.

Well, this is the second year in a row where he's waited this long (there are literally only 2 or 3 other players that haven't decided this year and I think it was the same way last year). Plus, you might remember the recruiting saga of him committing to Michigan State (he wanted to go to UC-Berkeley but Barnes wouldn't let him so the compromise was MSU), decommitting from Michigan State, and then finally committing to Purdue two years ago so I wouldn't say that him liking the attention and liking having fans and other people mull over his decisions is totally out of the question.
